Five weeks

The arrival and processing of people and beer define the essence of this project. A brick base honors the history of Guthrie’s downtown while a wrapping steel jacket highlights its entrances and signifies the city’s forward-looking spirit. Adjacent from the large mass lies an open lawn lined with green screen walls that define the space while still leaving it transparent. Connecting the two is one extended brick crosswalk that allows both cars and people to share the space and flow seamlessly across it.
